Amy Kay's Homemade Goods

Good morning, or afternoon, depending on when you are reading this.

I recently was introduced to a love lady named Amy who runs the Facebook
page Amy Kay’s Homemade Goods. I entered into a giveaway she was having on
Facebook and ended up winning her roll on perfume Pink Apple Crisp, and I was sent
a sample of Glowing Sands with my winnings.

Entering her giveaway was the best decision I have ever made in the perfume world.
I instantly fell in love with Pink Apple Crisp. I am a major sweet, floral lover and this
scent was made for me.

Amy was born and raised in Mississippi. She lives with her husband and silent partner
in Wesson Mississippi. Her dream is to go to school to become a Holistic Healer. They
work together to create new scents for Amy Kay's HG. She wants to have her life full
of "herbs, essential oils, and to teach people that want to learn or need some healing of
their own."

While she doesn't do Amy Kay's HG full time she still puts a lot of time into it. Her late
grandmother Amy Kay inspired her to start Amy Kay's HG. Amy's grandmother was
"something else and strong willed nonetheless." For Amy opening one of her dream
businesses was a spark for her passion and imagination. Now she has her goals in place,
she knows where she wants to be in five, ten, twenty years.

As a new business it's all about working with different scents, items, and products to
figure out what her followers love, like and dislike. She is always adding new things,
restocking customer favorites, and putting a twist on oldies but goodies. For example
she is currently working on an Irish Spring twist for women. She has a line of summer
roll on perfumes that will be available again soon. I personally can't wait to order some.
They are Summer Days (sunflowers scent), Pink Roses, and Purity (Gardenia scent).
Her and her husband work as often as they can to add new scents. Oh and I almost
forgot that they even have a Home For The Holidays, which is a great winter scent that
was a major hit. I personally have Pink Apple Crisp form my winnings, and I bought a
bottle of Glowing Sands and Violet Moon. These three lovelies sit on my desk right by
my front door. That way as I head out I can just grab whatever one I feel like using that
day and stick in my purse.

Of these three I am in love with Pink Apple Crisp the most, it is followed up by
Violet Moon, and last but not least is Glowing Sands.

If you love fruit smells Pink Apple Crisp is going to be your main squeeze.
Like I can literally just sniff the bottle all day long and be content.

Violet Moon is great for those days you wish you had some lavender
around to help relax you. Plus she added in some shimmer to give yourself that
little extra pick me up.

Glowing Sands is a semi-strong scent, I like it a lot. It is a cologne,
but it's not too strong that a woman can't wear it.

Pink Apple Crisp Violet Moon Glowing Sands

All of her roll on perfumes are made from Jojoba Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil,
Fragrance Oils, and if you want you can add in your choice of a stone and herb. Even
if something is considered seasonal (like my Pink Apple Crisp and Glowing Sands) she
keeps them in stock and all anyone has to do is ask for it and she'll make you up a
bottle real fast. Amy and her husband both have very sensitive skin. So she tries to
keep everything as natural as possible to help avoid skin flare ups. They only sell
what they have personally used on themselves, and believe that providing the best
products at a great price is one of the things that really matters. They use Jojoba Oil
and Fractionated Coconut Oil because they have a longer shelf life and last. So if you
are like me and you just keep buying you don't have to worry about it going bad
anytime soon.

You can get a 10 ml bottle for $8 plus shipping. I have had my Pink Apple Crisp since
February and I have barely made a dent in the amount I have used. Oh, by the way,
you can even request samples of any of her scents. That way you can try before you by!

New product coming to Amy Kay's Homemade Goods will be jewelry made with
gemstones, soaps, candles, and more! So keep an eye out on her social platforms.

When I asked Amy what her favorite product was that they offer she
didn't hesitate to say Home for the Holidays. "For me it just brings you back to a
place of calm, peace, love and laughter with family. My favorite time of the year is
fall which leads into winter. It's a magical time. That particular perfume is designed
to help lift your spirits around the holidays."

I love things that smell good, I love samples, and I love getting the most for my
money. In all Amy of Amy Kay's Homemade Goods offers just that, as well as her
loving and caring personality. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are
happy. She loves doing giveaways. So make sure you head on over to her Facebook
and give her a like, then take a moment to invite your family/friends to do the same.
You never know you may end up falling in love with her products like I have.

JZBRAIN 4 in 1 Pouch Laminator - Review

JZBRAIN 4 in 1 Pouch Laminator

If by some chance you don't do make it over to my YouTube review of this beauty you can read it here. As a homeschooler, cook/baker, and small business owner I laminate things often. Rather it be a recipe I use often or some school work my girls need to reuse multiple times I need a laminator that can hold up to a lot of use. You get the laminator and 4 different size pouches for getting you started.

The plus side of this one... it comes with a built in blade to slice those papers or things you've laminated. I really like that this gem is added on to the laminator. I hate hunting for scissors that I can't cut a straight line with or using my portable paper cutter that is old and about to fall apart. Having the cutter on it makes everything so much easier.

Now when it comes to using the laminator it's as easy as selecting hot or cold setting and flipping the power button, of course you do have to plug it in.

I decided to laminate a meatball slider recipe I found. I selected to correct size pouch, placed my paper in it (and I centered it up), then I put the edge that was already sealed (the fold/bend) into the laminator and let it work it's magic.

It's really simple to use and with it being better made I have no issue pumping out 30 things in a row. Always get a nice clean seal with no pockets.

Speak if nice and clean it comes with this cute little corner cutter. I think rounded edges look nice so I cute the paper. Oh and it has a nice built in storage space for the cutter on the back.

Over all I really like and enjoy using this laminator. It has all the thing I would normally hunt down built on, works fast, and has no issues with getting a good seal. Well worth a look at if you are a homeschooler or small business owner, or you just like to have thing laminated. I know there are others out there like me that just like to laminate things. Think middle school, being picked by the teacher, sent to the teachers lounge, and asked to laminate some cut outs. That was every middle schoolers dream and now you can do it as an adult!
