Do you ever . . .

Do you ever just get hit by how much you miss a person? For me tonight it's my mom and sister. When you spend 18 years of your life with two people you never realize how much you love and miss them when you are grown and have your own family. My sister and I were not always close, as a matter of fact we didn't become close until after I moved out of the house. She now is my best friend and I do just miss her so much sometimes. My mother, I always miss her. She is my rock and she has always been there and loved me no matter what. She is the best mother anyone could ask for. I love those two with all my heart.

I just need to get this out to someone, already told them but need to say it more. Have a great night everyone!

#SkintimateHappyLegs Party!!!!

So I was picked by #Crowdtap to do a #SkintimateHappyLegs party with some of my girl friends.

First I received a really great #SamplingSkintimate kit in the mail - 

I was sent 

• 10 Trial-Sized Samples of Skintimate Raspberry Rain
• 12 Schick Quattro for Women Sparkle razors
• 1 Exfoliating Scrub
• 1 Post shave Lotion
• 1 Nail Polish
• 10 pairs toe separators

This is the best sampling kit I have ever seen. Lots of great goodies to put into the cute goodies bags I made from scratch. I had these cute little plastic containers with lids that I placed all the samples into so that everyone didn't have to wait form the items to be passed around.

 We had to start out with the exfoliating scrub that I LOVED. It went on well, had the perfect amount of salt and oil, and it just smelled so great. If you have never exfoliated before shaving I HIGHLY recommend you add it to your pampering routine. Exfoliating works wonders!

Others opinions:

• "The smell! It's wonderful! It also worked well."
• "Removed dry skin very well."
• "It smelt really good, but it was hard to clean off."

Now for the star of the #SkintimateHappyLegs party . . . Skintimate Raspberry Rain shave gel!

For me this was a very excellent shave gel. It smells wonderful, you don't need to use near as much as you think you would. It lathers up great and works better than shaving creams/foams. When you press the button you are hit with this light and sweet small of raspberries and rain. If you smell it you would imagine it raining raspberries! It comes out as a gel and like I said above you don't need much and it lathers up well for me. Goes on smoothly and comes off just as smooth. Helps moisturize my legs and that is a must! It is very easy to use outside of the shower if the need should arise. However I didn't like the Schick Quattro for Women Sparkle razor, it nicked me a couple of times and just didn't feel durable in my hand.

Others opinions about Skintimate Raspberry Rain shave gel:

• "It smells great and it worked well."
• "Smelled really good and didn't have to use a lot on my legs. However it spits out very quickly."
• "It smelled good and felt smooth. I liked the gel better than regular shaving cream, but it was a little itchy."

 Others opinions about Schick Quattro for Women Sparkle razors:

• "I did not like the razor. It didn't do a good job."
• "It shaved really good but the hairs were hard to get out of the blades."
• "Did not like the shaver. I had to shave extra slow and it still cut me."

  Once done exfoliating and shaving we were provided a really great lotion to use. To me it had a really nice lite scent and the lotion it's self was light wight. It went on smoothly, absorbed fully and didn't leave a greasy feeling like other lotions I have used before.

 Others opinions about the lotion:

• "It was okay, not a deep moisturizing lotion."
• "I didn't like that I didn't know the brand, I loved how smooth it made my legs feel."
• "I really liked it. Smells good and moisturizes well."

So after we finished with our #SkintimateHappyLegs pampering we painted out piggies with a brighter pink than what I am used to wearing. I have used Sinful Colors nail polish before and my opinion still remains the same . . . it is a great product. It goes on smoothly, only takes a couple of coats to get desired color, drys fast and stays on well. 

Others opinions about the nail polish:

• "Color is a pretty. Polish seems a little bit thin."
• "Nice color."
• "It's a nice vibrant pink, but not a color for everyone."

Over all everyone enjoyed the parties and loved that the parties were so different from other parties that they have attended. It did go to show that you can shave your legs with out a shower if you needed too and it's a great time to laugh, catch up and just hang out with some girlfriends. Caramel Apple Fondue

I came across this Caramel Apple Fondue recipe from Kellogg's. It looks so good and my little ones will be SO happy to give it a try. The love apples, caramel and Rice Krispies Treats. This will be a great fall treat.
