Recap of my 2015 crochet journey!

For the past two years I have been teaching myself to crochet and I am LOVING it so much! I love the challenge and I love the outcome. I have done more than I ever thought I would. This is a skill I will never let go of and I hope to pass this skill down to my girls.

First things first. This one is he #1 project I am most please with! A peppermint swirl blanket, this blanket took a lot of time but it was worth it.

Here is a lap blanket I made for my oldest daughter. It's the perfect size for keeping her warm. This is a corner to corner (C2C) as well as a graphgan.

For Halloween I made the girls their own ear flap hats and tick or treat bags.

I made Christmas stocking. Ignore the action shot of Montana going after stocking.
I made lots of rolled scarves, ruffle scarves and head wraps.

A few more blankets I made. Each one is done a different way and it took lots of time, learning and removing of stitches.

Last thing I am happy with the outcome isn't crochet related but it still came out great and I love it!

Over all my crocheting year has been busy and I am happy with what I made. I am ready to start this journey and hopefully sell my creations! Best of luck to you all in your crafting journey and please share your items you are most proud of below!

  1. Thank you very much. I need to start back up. I have just been so bust lately that I haven't been able to do any crafts.
