I was giving the please of trying Curel's new line of Itch Defense body wash and lotion by CrowdTap!
I was really excited to try this sample because I have major problems with scratching my lower legs. I have scratched so much that I have red spots and scars from scratching so much.
As you can clearly see I have scars, and those are all from scratching. So being able to try a new product that is suppose to work wonders and stop the itch is a major plus for me!
First things first all opinions are my own. I know it seems odd to have to say but hey it's nice to know that I am the one really giving you my honest opinion.
Curel Itch Defense Body Wash review
First I tried the Curel Itch Defense Body Wash, no photo's here. The sample was .25 oz but that was enough to cover my whole body. So a little goes a long way! It was rich, and thick. It didn't just run through my loofah. I could feel it working on my skin, like I could feel this pleasant shield being formed over my body. When rinsed it feel smooth, which is awesome because other body washes have left me filling kind of rubbery. You know it's sorta dry and squeaky clean. I don't like that feel at all. After getting out I dried off and I could still feel the barrier on my skin. Over all I really enjoyed the body wash and I think it is a well made product and I look forward to purchasing it in the future.
Curel Itch Defense Lotion review
I really enjoyed using Curel Itch Defense lotion. It
was smooth and slightly thick. I don't like runny lotion so that was a
major plus. When applied it absorbed completely and didn't leave any
greasy residue. Which is a not win in my book. A lot went a long way. I
had a .25 oz sample and I applied it to my lower legs. My lower legs
have taken a scratching (see what I did there?!?!) over the year, so
much so that I have left scars on my lower legs. They are always dry and
bothering me. I am genuinely shocked by how fast Curel Itch Defense
lotion worked and how long it has lasted. I applied it this morning at
about 8 and it's now 4:30 in the afternoon and I have not had the urge
to scratch my legs all day. However if there was one thing I would
change it would be the smell. While it's not a bad smell it could use a
little fresh scent. So all in all I am please with my sample and happy
with the out come of just one use, this hasn't happened with any of the
other lotions I have bought before. Great job Curel on a wonderful
product!
Over all my sampling of Curel Itch Defense was awesome and I couldn't have asked for a better product. My legs are thankful that they no longer are in threat of being scratched so much that they end up scared more.
