Mini Triscuit Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Pies
Yields:12

Ingredients

Crust:
1 7.6 oz box Triscuit Cinnamon Sugar Thin Crisps
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Pumpkin Filling:
Option 1 –
1 15 oz can pumpkin, your choice brand
1 12 oz can evaporated milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
2 large eggs slightly whisked

Topping:
1 box 7.6 oz Triscuit Cinnamon Sugar Thin Crisps
Whipped cream

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425*

For crust:
Place full bag of Triscuit Cinnamon Sugar into food processor and chop to a coarse powder, add sugar, cinnamon and melted but and pulse until combined. Line a 12 ct muffin tin with liner’s and spray liner’s with non-stick spray. Place 2 tbsp of crust mixture into each hole of muffin tin. Press down firmly with finger and form a well.
For pumpkin filling:
In a large bowel mix together all of the pumpkin filling ingredients. Mix until well combined. Pour ¼ cup of filling on to crust in muffin tin. Place in oven and bake for 15 minutes. Then reduce heat to 350* and bake another 15 – 20 minutes. A table knife inserted in the middle should come out clean, to determine if mini pumpkin pies are cooked.
Remove from oven and place on cooling rack for 1 hour.
For topping:
Place a handful of Triscuit Cinnamon Sugar Thin Crisps into a zip-lock bag and use a rolling pin to crush. Place desired amount of whipped cream on top and sprinkle with crushed Triscuit’s and enjoy!

Homeschool Fundraiser

If you haven't noticed by now the link that says something along the lines of "Donate to Homeschool Fundraiser for Montana" in each post you will now know what it is for and will notice it from now on.

A sum of why we decided to homeschool:
Well for the two years of public school my daughter was bullied physically, mentally and emotionally by two different kids.
In Kindergartener she was kicked so hard under her desk by another class mate that it left bruises on her legs, all because she would give answers or answer what this other kid wanted her to put down. This kid would push her down on the playground and just be rude. It took my daughter a few weeks to finally tell us what was going on. Our daughter who was being treated like crap by another child didn't want them to get into trouble for leaving bruises on her so she didn't want to tell right away. Once it came to light what was going on everything was handled how it should have been.
Flash forward to 1st grade. A didn't school mate was a bully to her. This other class mate would say mean things like "You can't play with me and ***** because you are skinny and we aren't," "If you don't do this I will tell the teacher you did something that will get you in trouble." Right away our daughter told us what was going on because we wanted her to know you had to tell an adult when someone was being a bully. Well I contacted the teacher right away and told her what was going on. I was told that she was the baby of like 5 other kids and single parent and that's probably why this child acted the way they did. In all honestly I didn't care about the home situation all I cared about was the mistreatment of my daughter and I wanted it stopped. Well this child got moved across the classroom. That didn't stop it and we had other incidents all year up until the last one. My daughter found a quarter on the play ground. This other child learned about it, went to my daughter and told her that if she didn't give her the quarter that she was going to say she stepped in the sand and would get into trouble, so our daughter gave her the quarter. When I picked my daughter up from school she said that it was her lucky day then it wasn't. She told me the above. I turned right around and went inside to speak to the teacher. I made it clear that it better get handled or I would be taking it higher up. It got handled! Then her school was put on lock down because some guy said he was going to shoot his wife that worked at the school ISD. So after that we decided that she would be homeschooled.

So we started our first year of homeschool this year. Our daughter is loving it. When she goes to public school they have fundraisers all the time to raise money for the school. So I decided that it would be no different having a fundraiser for homeschool. Everything is and will be going to our daughters school curriculum, supplies and all the educational field trips we want to take her on. So it is now on the GoFundMe website and anyone can donate to it. So if you want to and are able to please click here to donate. All donations are very appreciated.

Did you know?

So I have had these photo's on my computer for awhile stating the benefits of fruits/veggies etc. I am cleaning off my computer and wanted to keep these but not on my computer so I am putting them here! Hope you learn something you didn't know before reading this!

Just a random craft!

So I was on Pinterest and I came across wreaths and they reminded me of a wreath I made back in spring, that I loved. However if I make it again I will cut the garden hose in half because it was very heavy. The only reason I say make it again is because my husband took it apart when I put it in the garage thinking it was old or I was throwing it out, lol. He doesn't pay attention to my crafts because I make so much of them. Now remember not all will love this spring wreath like me, but you have to remember I like in rural NE Texas and I also love to garden. So here it is. The photo doesn't do it justice. I will make it with less hose next time, add in a spring sign and not pink. Let me know what you think.

Sharing some links!

So late last night I couldn't sleep so I surfed Facebook. I cam across two cool articles I loved and want to share them with you all.

The first on I love was on Do It Yourself - DIYideas.com Facebook page. If you are like me and you do not have a entry way you can take a book shelf remove the top shelf and had hooks for hanging things. Then you just customize the rest as you want. Here is the photo they posted and the link to their website that has 25 other ideas to look over -

The next post I want to share comes from quirkymomma.com Facebook page. Chores for Kids by Age! I love it, gives just the right amount of chores and task each kids should be able to complete at each age range. Sometimes we underestimate our children and don't give them enough responsibility. Other times we give them to much to handle. So I am sharing this in hopes that a parent figure reads it and finds the best section for their child(ren). So here is the link to the page that has the whole list.

Hope you enjoy these two things as much as I did!

Product Test for Clear Proof by Mary Kay via House Party!

*All opinion express are my own*

Another wonderful opportunity I was given was to be a product test for Clear Proof by Mary Kay via House Party, Chatter Box. With House Party you sign up to host parties or participate in Chatter Boxes. If picked for a House Party you host a party, invite guest, take photos, show off the product and up load ever thing. If picked for Chatter Box you test the product yourself, let everyone know, post photo's and give your review.

For the Clear Proof Chatter Box I was sent a full size kit and instructions on how to use the product. I used Clear Proof for 30 days. Below you will see photo's I shared before and after as well as my review of the product.

First thing was I had to take a photo of the box when I received it -

"Look what I just got in the mail today!!! Can't wait to start using it! Thanks Mary Kay and House Party!

#ClearProofPack

I'll let you all know how I like it. ♡"

I was super excited about Chatter Box here is my before photo -

"Getting ready to wash my face with my #ClearProofPack"

Here I am after taking the 30 day challenge and I am very impressed with the out come, below the photo you will find my full review -
I love The Clear Proof Acne System. It left my face and neck feeling clear, refreshed and moisturized. The Clear Proof Clarifying Cleansing Gel was smooth, smelled good and worked great. The only thing I wished it had was scrub beads, or something like that, in the gel itself. I could feel it work in my pours and a little bit of tingle. Clear Proof Blemish Control Toner has a little bit of an over powering smell. To me it was not that bad but to other it might be. The Toner works and you can tell from the moment you put it on your face. When I first started to use it I had a burning/tingling feeling, however it was tolerable. Every time I used it I could feel it tingling in areas I knew I had acne problems well as in other areas I couldn't see acne. The Clear Proof Acne Treatment Gel didn't work as fast for me as others had wrote it did. For the main part it dried up the acne and let what looked like a scab. Over about 5 days the spot treatment worked and the acne would look better. The Clear Proof Oil-Free Moisturizer for Acne-Prone Skin is my FAVORITE of all of these products! I have not been able to find a moisturizer that worked so well on my skin. I have oily skin and this moisturizer left my skin soft, moisturized and not oily all day long. That is a big thing for me, because I become oily half way through the day and I didn't need something adding more oil to my skin. My face has less acne since starting The Clear Proof Acne System and redness on my face has reduced dramatically. I never even noticed the amount of redness on my face until I took a before photo and a half way through photo and say the difference. In my opinion this is a keeper and all must give it a try.

After that I got to do something really fun! I got to stage my Skintimate Mandarin Burst Shave Gel with lemon and limes (I was going to do mandarins too but could NOT find any in my local stores), I had fun with this photo -

"Skintimate Mandarin Burst has such a delightful and delicious scent. #SamplingSkintimate #SkintimateHappyLegs"

The final photo was to show my legs off in an outfit that showed off ... my legs! So here it is -

"Feeling confident with my legs, so I'm wearing my shorts. #SkintimateHappyLegs #SamplingSkintimate"

So my opinion on Skintimate Mandarin Burst Shave Gel?

I LOVE IT! I have more than one favorite part about this sample! First favorite is they gave me a FULL bottle to sample, which is really awesome! Second favorite is the smell, oh the smell it is just to die for! Third favorite part is my legs are nice and smooth with a really close shave and feeling very hydrated! Over all my experience with Skintimate Mandarin Burst was FANTASTIC! Love the stuff and I recommend everyone else try it! I got myself some #SkintimateHappyLegs Thanks #Crowdtap for picking me to sample!
